Schools may apply for a mini-grant from ASEC Inc. for use in establishing or refreshing Sensory Rooms for children on the Autism spectrum and other special needs children.  "Sensory Rooms" is an umbrella term used to categorize a broad variety of therapeutic spaces specifically designed and utilized to promote self-organization and positive change. Sensory Rooms help to create a safe space for a child that may not be coping with a situation and needs a "quiet" place to decompress.
